The first hunt was at a small town school house that was built in 1927 and is now closed. It is 3 plus acres so I have a lot more ground to cover at this site. $1.79 in clad, a sliver Washington & Rosie, 2 Mercs, a buffalo, 9 wheats and a sterling ring.
The second hunt was a quick one at the grove I’ve hunted for years. I recovered a nice little spill with 2 wheats, a silver Washington and a 1940 Jefferson.

Well done! That grove has been very good to you over the years.

What a nice haul Jeff! 3 acres - that should keep you busy for a bit longer!

And the grove keeps on producing....great hunting. Three acres should take you awhile...:groovy:

Yes it has, my quick go to spot.

The new spot is a 45 minute drive so I won’t be there too often. The grove is less than 10, that’s why it’s my go to spot for a quick hunt.

Congrats on a fine couple hunts Jeff! I'm surprised there's anything left at the grove, but you keep it producing!

Three acres at an old school house is some serious good hunting! Good luck on your return trips! :clapping:
