Hey diggers,
Woke up to the wonderful white stuff today! Spent 4 hours at the siege site. It's amazing how different the woods look when there is snow! I kept getting turned around and going the wrong way. I found some good keepers today. I got 5 coins with the oldest being 1632. My favorite though is the 1719 Louis XV Sol. It depicts him as a young boy (au buste enfantin). The large silver coin was struck so far off-center the date is missing. I got 2 buckles and a couple nice buttons but I'm really happy with the 1600's St. Benedict medallion! It's a prayer to ward off Satan and demons. Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas! Dave.
