Hey guys,
Robbie found a cool early navy button and fyrffytr1 provided a link with some information- http://www.colchestertreasurehunting.co.uk/navy%20buttons.htm

His site also had naval cufflinks that look like a pair I found years ago. Anyone know if mine are naval? I found them at the site I found the Life, Liberty, Property buttons.
Thanks!http://www.americandetectorist.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=39405&d=1401148864

Are they 1-piece buttons? Please post a picture of the back.

Here's the thread...I guess on rereading the guys weren't sure if it is military or not.

OK. I thought you meant cuff buttons. I think the cuff links are civilian but that is just my gut feeling. The design is a little fancy when compared to the rose on the navy button.
