Hey Diggers,
I've been reading some good reviews about this preservation wax. They sell it here in Germany for about $8 so I ordered one. I haven't used it yet but will this weekend on my next finds. I'll post the results to this thread.

I use Renaissance Wax. It is used by The British Museum for relic preservation. I don't use it on silver. All of my bronze and copper coins, relics, and brass buttons are treated with it. It's probably a very similar product to the above.

Donnie, I also use Renaissance wax but I'm almost halfway through the little container! I compared the two waxes and this new stuff is a lot stiffer and doesn't melt as easy with heat from my fingers. It takes more work to get it onto the item.

I wonder if it smells as good as Renaissance wax? :shocked01:
