My first silver thimble

It was great to finally get out today to move a little dirt. I went to the old farm and dug up a lot of nails and stuff. I did finally get my first silver thimble:happydance01:.

Thanks everyone, I was able to straighten it out and cleaned it. I found the makers mark MKD sterling on the inside. Found the exact same one on ebay for 39.95.
 
That is an awesome find! I've been detecting for 40+ years and I still haven't found a silver thimble. :crying01:

Thanks Tony, I`ve only been detecting going on 9yrs and had no idea there value. I seen other people find them. A first for me. Here are some after pics.

Hey Robbie, I think I see an old saddle bag adornment in the first pic between the thimble and the D buckle. Congrats on the bucketlister!
