Noah and I met up with Tony yesterday at a town he suggested to us. Our very first house gave us a yes and then his next door neighbor invited us to do his yard and then his next door neighbor said yes as well. Three houses in a row and coins came out of each one. ( Tony, you're picking the towns for now on )
Tony and Tim both out detected me, but I never do well in the heat. It seemed that I was always the first one back to the car and the AC.:whiteflag:
I did manage a couple in the morning, one in the afternoon and then a couple more at the last house as it started cooling off a little.
I can't wait to get back there when it cools down a bit!!

My finds for the day:

66799

In the order I dug them:
6680066801

6680266803
6680666807
6680466805

That 1894 Barber Quarter is a terrific find, Don! That yard was amazing for you and Tim. You don't know how many times I drove past that house in the past and drooled over that huge front yard with the curved sidewalks. Now I know what was there!

That 1896 Indian Head was brand new when it was dropped! Full Liberty and four diamonds on the ribbon.

I am so glad that town paid off for us. Some of the other ones I've picked have been losers.

I'm happy that you ended the day on a high note!

A Barber from the 1800's is always a thrill. Congrats on a great hunt!

Great finds Don! Looks like the soil there was rough on the copper coins though. I'm guessing yard fertilizer for many years? I don't like detecting in the heat either! Happy digging!

WTG Don! Digging in this heat is hell but you really made it worth the effort.

You guys had a great day. Been trying some water hunting to beat the heat but it is quite enjoyable but the finds are far and few between. Congrats on all the recoveries.WD
