Haven’t posted in a while. Places have dried up and I haven’t had much luck. This weekend Don and I tried a couple towns we had minimal success in before followed by another we haven’t been to. Well I picked up a couple here and another there! And I only scared one old lady! Actually for those of you that door knock it’s not all that uncommon. Makes me feel bad when it happens and guess ya can’t be too careful when a strange man shows up on your doorstep. aside from thinking she watched a few too many episodes of Columbo I have to try to give her respect. Anyways we managed to not be stopped by the local sheriffs (though he was about) and we found a few things. 6708967090670916709267093

Well it looks to me like you did great! The 2 cent looks very green and clean. Lots of nice Indians too!

Thanks buddy. I was very surprised. It was the only decent signal in the yard.

Nice looking 2 cent Noah but that V nickel is the best dug example I have seen. Don said he stopped at a coin store on his way to detect with you. Looking forward to his post!:hystericallaugh:

You are a magnet for Two cent Pieces, Tim! How many have you found now?

I agree with the other comments, that is a nice looking V Nickel!

Did the dog tag have a date on it?

I have probably found a dozen two cent pieces over the years if you count the first few that I destroyed attempting to clean. This one is probably my best one even though it’s still kind of chunky on the backside. But I’ll take it! Thanks everyone.

Was hoping for seated but I'll take the 2 cent piece. Lotta work getting more than one or two coins.

The dog tag is a 1927.

You weren't dressed in any type of Halloween costume while door knocking we you? Nice group of keepers, especially the 2 center.
