Hello and welcome to the forum. I spent a couple years in "hill country" and really loved it there. I was always looking for arrowheads and fossils! What kind of detecting are you most interested in? Coins, relics, jewelry, etc.?

Just getting started, about 6 weeks now. I’m pretty much interested in all aspects of detecting. My oldest find as of yet has been a 1945 wheat penny, nothing to brag about I know, but I know there are other things to be found.

Hi, tramagod! What kind of detector did you start with? I started with a Bounty Hunter and learned so much with it. I never found a wheat with it though. I remember my first wheat was with an Ace 350. You never forget your first wheat
I hope you enjoy the members here...they are knowledgeable and nice!
Texas has some great history to find , welcome !
