Yesterday went back to my new permission, and next to the well I found this 1746 KGII and it is by far my best copper yet, as far as detail goes.

Just 20 feet from this coin I found a 1786-88 NJ copper and it was total waste. It's amazing how 1 coin can come out so bad and another come out so good even when in the same area.

That KGII cleaned up beautifully, Scott! Wow, what a gorgeous coin! 274 years old, amazing!

It's crazy that the nearby New Jersey copper came out looking like it did. At least it's clearly identifiable.

That's an awesome KGII. I don't have a KGII that looks that good yet but I did find a cast counterfeit 1746. Who knows? Maybe the casting was made from your coin?!:lolsign:

Nice Georgie. Most NJ coppers seem to be really toasty. Not often you get a good one.
