Hi all,
I havent been out but once this year with the corona stuff and crazy work schedules, bad weather, etc.
But I recently started a new job with Molson Coors, formerly Miller brewing. Speaking with one of the management team today, I mentioned the desire to detect the historic 1855 property. I was told it's possible and he's making inquiries to get formal permission. Got my fingers crossed as this is a place that could take years to cover, which includes several preserved original buildings and residences.

Wow, that would be a detectorist's dream come true! I hope it works out. Keep us posted!

Yeah that could be a really amazing opportunity! Hope it is even better than what you hope for...morgans, seateds, barbers galore!

Agreed guys! Other than some construction and possible landscaping over the years, much is still untouched. Guessing its also never been detected.
With all the activity there in the past, I would guess theres got to be lots of good coins and relics related to the brewery's past. Then theres the wealthy who also lived and visited there, so gold coins sure are a strong possibility.
If all goes well, I'm hoping to get permission extended to a guest or two as well and return the favors of some of the folks here who have graciously invited me to their spots as well.

Fingers (and toes) crossed!

Well considering they used to get free beer and drink on the job, I'm sure there was a little card playing and gambling as well back in the day. there probably not going to like it though if you find enough to retire on. Good Luck. WD
