Donnie you should have waited until 15 of us posted our best silvers before you dropped that show stopper on us. Now none of us are going to want to play.

Yeah Donnie, How could you? It is a beautiful coin though! I'll trade you Don's 1925 mercury dime for it.

These were fun because they were in the same field.

It's a great coin but you got to wonder why they put the hole where they did!

Yeah I wondered that too and my theory is that they used the '0' as the starter for making the hole but who knows.

I think I heard about not wanting to put a hole in the king's head, so they did it on the other end.

Some amazing coins above! Donnie's coin is ridiculous of course but those Spanish silvers are awesome. This is what I consider my best coin. My 1812 half dollar. The front has some interesting iron staining but other than that it is great shape for being found in a farm field.

Amazing silver, everyone! Dan, I remember that little buckle well. I bet I had my coil on it but didn't dig it because I dug some same-sounding modern trash right around it. I'm glad you snagged it! I never went back there...did you? I know you guys hit the site just south of there. I also remember that 1832, what a catch!

I'm curious as to your opinion Del, what machine you prefer. My experience has only been with Whites, and now the E-Trac.

Noah , I still love my DFX as its one of the best target id machines still but there are very few machines that can even come close to the deus in the iron .

Thanks Del. Not there yet, but someday I may upgrade. :) Nice silver there.

Dan the guy I sold my DFX to said the exact same thing. He said he tried them all but said he could rely on the DFX TID over any of them. He wanted mine as a back up to his DFX.
