Yesterday I found out that I am going to be deployed again.....

Toda, we found out that our daughter got accepted to a private college, the school she has been wanting to attending. They only accepted 300 new freshmen, out of thousands of applicants. On top of that, she was awarded a presidents scholorship totalling $54,000.

The whole family is completely nuts, excited about this. I just had to share!

She's taking AP classes, which are weighted more than standard class grades. It averages out to a GPA of 4.07 :shocked04:

Better than I EVER could have done in high school. So happy for her.

I'm very happy for you, J. Good for you, man!
I don't expect that same luck for our 18-year-old daughter... but I can only hope... and wish.
