Just a heads up that effective June 1 YouTube is now going to start putting ads in your videos whether you want them to or not. I received an email from them today outlining their updated terms of service and this was one of the items:


YouTube’s right to monetize: YouTube has the right to monetize all content on the platform and ads may appear on videos from channels not in the YouTube Partner Program

Somehow I don't think YouTube will be sharing that revenue with the maker of the video either.

I wonder how that's going to effect the guys who already add an ad every two minutes in their videos

well that explains all the extra ads. Getting tired of seeing the guy on a bike. Hopefully someone starts a different platform to compete with Google and maybe they won't be so greedy.
