The dog rabies tag is from 1953. The Merc is 1945-D, 1900 Indian and 10 wheats three of them are 1910. I also found around $3 in clad and lot of rusty IRON. I think the crusty disc at the bottom of the first photo is a steel cent it was in the hole with a 45 wheat. Any suggestions on cleaning it.

Great variety of stuff. Congrats.

Finds like that make the hunts interesting.

Good luck on the possible steel cent. You never see many people posting them.

Nice finds thumbsup01 I don't know that there's too much that can be done about that steel cent, but just another example of how the E-Trac sniffs out the good stuff with the iron. :smitten:

Nice hunt. Silver and a good amount of wheat cents do make for fun detecting time. I like the IH. It held up well.

Great hunt and a lot of old and new targets. The steel cent is toast lol I think any details were erased by the globs of rust. I have found some with other wheats and that is probably the only way you can know that it is a steel cent. Nice digs :clapping:
