Two new links to sites American Detectorist members may find of interest have been added to the American Detectorist (http://www.americandetectorist.com/index.html) homepage.

USA Coin Book (http://www.usacoinbook.com/)

&quot:daydream:ur site is highly educational but we also integrated some commercial aspects to it. Basically, our site is specialized in US coins and is also an alternative to eBay where members can buy, sell and auction coins, bullion or related items. They can also track personal collections online without software and create a personal coin wish list that can be seen throughout the site. Also, anyone can quickly look up coin values, pictures and statistics in a clean, organized Red Book format. Everything is free to use and it is free to sign up as a member. The only thing we charge is a 2% final value fee on anything that gets sold at our site (much cheaper as opposed to eBay). It is quickly growing very popular among collectors, dealers and major coin authors such as John A. Wexler just in the first month since our launch in August. You can set up your own shopping cart storefront if you want and not have to deal with trying to design your own websites, just direct your visitors to your own Coin Book to see your auctions, sales, wish list and personal collection!

Our Red Book includes nearly every coin minted in US history along with it's statistics. Check out our seated liberty dime page as an example of each year, where it was minted, how many were minted and the value of each coin for each mint grade/condition: http://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/dimes/seated-liberty/

Tvpresenter4history (http://www.youtube.com/Tvpresenter4history)

For over a decade archaeologist & historian James Balme has been researching the landscape looking for vital clues and artefacts left behind in the soils by our ancient ancestors. Over that time he has recovered many wonderful and stunning treasures deposited in the soils over the past 4000 years.

I hope the American Detectorist members will find the sites informational and helpful.
