Beach hunting

I live on the east coast and I wonder with all the storms recently, if anyone has found any colonial coins. There is a link on the nternet that shows all the shipwrecks since the 1600's on up. Most of them are close to the shore all around Cape Cod and Connecticut. I can't find the link right now but there's alot of info. about some of the many wrecks, some of which are close to shore.
I saw a news clip about a beach that had about a 7 foot erosion depth. At low tide it must be swamped with detectors.
Give me some feedback, I'd be interested to see what's being found.

I've wondered that too... A lot of the coastline on the Cape is protected and you can't detect there. Being out in WMass and not originally from the area, I'm not familiar with the coastline. If you want to hit it and want someone to join you, I'd be up for a drive.
