This afternoon I took advantage of the cool and sunny day to detect for a few hours at a Connecticut park. I ended the hunt with four silver coins, all dimes, as well as several wheat cents and a few odds and ends.

The dimes are dated 1894, 1919, 1936 and 1952. I had hoped to see a mintmark on the Barber dime, but I had hoped for too much. Still, she is going into the empty slot I have on my Barber dime album. :smitten:

The wheat cents are mostly dated in the 40s and 50s.

Nice set of dimes you have there, plus a nice pile of wheats.

Good stuff Angel.

Congrats.

Are you begging for an S again for that Barber? lol Not!! That would be a very sweet coin. Nice bunch of finds and the silver is slowing down, but still there. Nice going :beerbuddy:

As I understand it, one was spent on candy by the little girl it was given to. lol I can dream! But hey, it also could have been an 'O'. I think the silver will be sparse the rest of the year, but you won't hear me complaining.

Great finds, especially the barber!

Don't kill me :shocked04: but in the last photo, what is the thing with the blue stone in the upper-ish part of the photo?
