Took a break from beach hunting to hit an old trashy, cleaned out lol park Saturday with the V3i. 5 hours hunting only yielded some clad, 5 Indians, the best being an 1873, 2 Buffalos, 2 Two Cent pieces 1864 and 1868 and a Merc 1917-S. The park was quite busy, so I had to field questions from passerbys even though I kept in the corner of the park where the crowd wasn't. I ignored most of the surface signals and concentrated on the deeper targets.

You had a great hunt at that site. thumbsup01 The Indian Head cents are very nice finds, but they sure do take a beating from the soil there. :bangahead01: Nice going on the 2-cent pieces and the silver too. :happydance01:

That's a great pocket of goodies! <:

Two - 2 centers, IH's, Buffs and silver..... dream hunt in my book.

The soil sure does a number on the copper coins out there.... definitely wouldn't appreciate that.

Congrats on a great hunt.
