I made it out for a short 45 minute hunt yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny 65 here yesterday so I couldn't pass it up! I found .48 in clad, a ton of can slaw, and this silver ring which bounced consistently between penny/dime and quarter on my machine. This was at a small town 100 year old park, I did not find one old target. The ring was at 4-5 inches.

Everyone is commenting on the ring and ignoring all that good can slaw lol Real nice ring. I bet they paid much more for that one. Great for a short hunt!!

Hey, I Googled Sterling Hallmarks American and clicked on pictorial marks, since it was a picture and not a name and finally hit on this one. It looks very similar. It's Bell Trading Post, Albuquerque, NM founded 1932 and they make sterling, copper, and silverplate, jewelry and souvenir spoons in Navajo style. Hope it's the one.

Yes, this link is a great resource. It is the one I have used.... probably got the tip from you.

I sure wish there was a gold hallmark site out there as helpful as this one.

Your welcome. Hope it is the one. Sometimes the marks changed a little bit over the years. So even if it's a bit different, it could still be from them.
