sniffy ( a friend from another forum)had permission for us to hunt a 1813 colonial home up in his neck of the woods.it was kinda early to go to home so,we started at a cellar hole that he knew of.
I was the first to strike a copper.my 30TH for this year! :shocked04: can't get a date but it's a Vermont copper.the iron shoe buckle was in the same hole with it.
About a half hour later he came over holding a copper.a 1801 i think? Draped bust large cent.i saw this cool lookin tree and had to get in it
a few buttons and not much else.then we headed to the homesite.
sniffy pulled a few things and a 1902 IH.
i got 5 IH's...1864(can't see any L so...),1874,1875,1890 & 1902.
a 1864 2 cent piece,4 wheaties & a 1923 buffalo nickel.
not a bad day and a pleasure to hunt with sniffy
have a happy thanksgiving all!
dave

Dave you still twisting old people's arms to detect their yards?? lol lol Looks like a good day out, but I'd watch your hunting buddy. If you keep finding all the goods, he may just lay that tree on it's side and bury you there :shocked04: I hoped you checked it for critters before you got in it ;)

Super finds!! Are the '74 and '75 IH's in decent shape. They are semi-key dates - $20 in Good condition. Love to see some pic's of them.
