My brother back in the day had a 1936 chevy truck he restored and drove during High school... like most of us, he eventually sold his first car.
But, to this day, the year 1936 is his favorite because of that truck.. and he also enjoys history, and he has been involved with the Nebraska Historical society for some time, and he also work for the State, which requires him to wear a suit & tie.. and he more often than not wears cuff links.
So I contact a company online, to order Mercury dime cuff links, but they didn't have any with 1936 dimes...but the owner of the company agreed to sell me blank 14Kt plated cuff links made to hold dimes.. and told me what to use to insert the dimes.
I have 2 nice 1936 Merc dimes I found this year and going to put them into the cuff links.
Here is an example from the website of what they will look like.. I think they look pretty damn snappy.
