Man, I had some fun tonight. A buddy of mine that I work with brought over a pile of coins for me to look at... Put it to you this way... I've never seen that much silver in my life. He has between 30 lbs and 40 lbs of silver coins... Mostly Morgan silver dollars. I did find one 1921 Peace Dollar in awesome shape..big bucks!! He had got them when his dad died and really didn't know much about coins, so they just sat in his safe. Most of the silver dollars are in near mint condition too!!! Just beautiful coins all around. Cracks me up, he lives in a trailer and struggles with his bills. I tolk him that he is easily sitting on between $20-$30,000 dollars worth of silver coins. Just grabbing a few and looking them up, many of them were over $100 coins. I haven't even got to look at all his dimes and quarters. Talk about drooling!!!

I kept thinking to myself... This is what Angel must feel like at the end of the year! LOL Yeah, it was pretty sweet just to see that kind of quality silver. Wish he would have shared some for my expertise.

Hopefully you can point him in the right direction and maybe he can get some money for them. He sounds like he needs it. Better get them to a safe deposit box though and fast

He keeps them in a safe in his house. I might get with him tomorrow evening.

With the price of gold climbing and silver following it. The market is pretty good for any
silver coins. People are buying it up as an investment. He just needs someone to sort out the ones that are more rare and valuable. The common ones can be sold on E-bay.
Peeps are paying $25-$30 each for common silver dollars. I only have 49. Just a small investment. Also have a bunch of silver dimes i didn't remember i had. My wife found an old coin book i had almost filled with dimes in the back of the closet.

That must have been quite an experience. The only time I get to run my fingers through silver is when I am brushing my hair back.
