Here is a video test on the Vibra Probe 460. Tested some common items usually found while out coin hunting.

Hope it helps out in deciding which pinpointer you might want to get.

Wow, with depth like that I can almost dig it first and don't need the pinpointer. lol Great video and I just get this feeling some of the advertising being done isn't that....let's say accurate :eyebrow: :eyebrow: lol. I won't spend the money on a pinpointer that barely gets 1. It has got to be possible to make one that gets 2 -3 consistantly. Thanks for showing that test.

I don't know if the newer models detect any further, but I was disapointed in the results of this pinpointer.

I have the 560. But have never tested it. I just like the fact that i can turn it on without a button. And it'll turn off by itself. I hate when i'm using my Bullseye II and my thumb slips off the button and i get that slight beep or vibration. Then i think that the target is in the direction i was pointing it. I recomend a rechargable 9v if you have a 560. It seems to run them down if you hunt alot. And regular 9v's are mucho $$$. :shocked04:

very nice tests your conducting Dimeman , yes my 580 does a bit better than what your 460 is showing , i can get a large cent at about 3 inches and as RaZR pointed out its nice to not fiddle with buttons on the unit .
