I'm new to the site and only been detecting since the last part of march 2009, but missed almost 2 months the first year because of a thorn in the ligament of my knuckle and 2010 it got so hot and dry I didn't detect for almost 2 months. Now I can't wait till spring comes to find some more old coins. HH

Winter is a good time to get hunting where the weeds die down and the bugs are gone. unless it's freezing cold :frozen:

Welcome to the forum Todd and great to see ya here thumbsup01 I still hunt in the winter when the snow isn't too deep but only in the woods cause it's frozen everywhere else.
