Some excellent finds. Lot of colonial stuff as well as other time periods. :clapping: Love the gold ring in the dirt :happydance01: Is that Aquamarine in it?? If it is gold and Aquamarine, that is one pretty (and expensive) ring. Way to go on them finds. But you have to stop burning then Seated coins lol

That's a real nice Barber Dime enameled pin. Never saw a pin like that. I have a pop out Barber dime ring where the face is punched out a bit. Very popular around 1900's. Same thing for the enameling. That eagle button is really old too. It's funny I have that one too I think, and the Mass militia button also. Stop finding stuff I find Steve lol

I think mine is a bit cleaner :grin: rofl Ouch. I bet your eagle button has some nice gilt hiding under it. Mine is different than yours is. Stay out of my safe :bop:

Naw, Incandescent lighting :ticked: It's actually silver paint (not really) Sometimes you get some kind soil up here and the original silver plating is still there. I got a war of 1812 button that is even a bit better than that one. I think your button looks like around 1812 too. :clapping:

hey Steve , those are some great colonial and federal era relics and coins thats the stuff i enjoy finding most . the jewelry from around the 1880's to 1910 is very sweet too. very nice year you had , heres to another great year of detecting :beerbuddy:

nice military button Steve :peace: :clapping: , it is war of 1812 era button . an artillery militia corps variety . is there a backmark of anykind . :confused:

Maybe if I clean it.... I posted the pic from a saved pic on the computer. I'll have to try to clean it and see.

just becareful Steve , you can loose alot of detail from those type of buttons

Solid silver found less than 5 miles from home in some woods. Havent seen any marks on it.
