The emblem was a symbol of good luck and pre-ceded Hitlers use of it, also as good luck, for his mission.
Hitler used a variation, as he took out the small tokens in each of the crooks.

They made several different variations of that token, here's one that I found last summer.

I visited many sites to get an idea of how many different swastika's there are. There are many and they bend the cross both ways. The swastika was used by almost everyone, even the Jewish, but usually have some added features. Also the colors are not there like in Hitler's time. I am not Jewish, so I can not speak for anyone who is. I personally do not get offended by that image because I realize it was done at a better time in history, long before Hitler unleashed his fury and his version of it. I hate to see the good times erased because of some nut. I would love to hear from some Jewish people on this and why (if it does) offend them, as it is not from the WW2 era. I'm 50/50 on it. The rebel :usaflag: can be viewed the same way and so can probably a hundred other things.

Actually, that symbol was the symbol of Good Luck before it was associated with The Idiot.
