There is something seriously wrong with your link. It causes IE to stop working

Nitro, every once in a while I get a note from someone who is having this trouble, but it seems to work fine for the vast majority of users.

Let me know if this direct link works:

Thanks!

Same as before. I just let it sit there and finally after a few minutes the home page loaded. I have high speed broudband internet, so this page should've loaded in seconds. I'm trying again to listen. The last session timed out after I clicked on treasures. Something just isn't right.

So the site loads but the program won't play?

Try right-clicking on the POD symbol and save the link to your computer, then play it from your computer.

If that doesn't work, send me your email address and I'll send the show to you that way.

We'll get this thing licked!

I am with you on this one Russell. lol I am large enough in size that no one bothers me much. I try and be as polite as possible. I figure I am representing the hobby, and should make people feel at ease around me. A lot of times just giving them a compliment on there dog, or well behaved children, or there concern for the park/grass, etc., disarms the situation. So sometimes I have to lie a little. :angelic: No big deal.

Interesting. How do you get officially Certified? Do you have to take a test?

I had a similar experience - true story. My detector (Fisher CZ-5) uses two 9-volt batteries. I carried two loose spare batteries in my pants pocket, and midway through a hunt my leg felt like it was on fire.

The batteries had jostled around in my pocket until their electrodes contacted each other and they turned red-hot almost immediately.

So I don't do that anymore.
