Hidy to all. I said that I would never put this Civil War stuff in cases, gess I lied. Going to a dinner and a professor of U.S. history is going to talk on the Civil War. He told me to bring some stuff with me. So I have been up all night getting some of my junk together. I run out of anything to put it in so this will have to do. I also havent put what I have found in Trenton on here. So here is some of what I put together to take Tuesday night. Ant much but I run out of boxes. The last two small boxes come from Trenton. Thanks for looking, and H.H.

Very impressive finds and display.

My meager finds usually end up in a box somewhere, and I can never find them.

Whoa!

You say that ain't much, but I disagree wholeheartedly! That is a LOT of history - imagine if you knew the exact story behind each piece, you would have books and books of history there.

Quite an impressive collection. thumbsup01

Hidy RR. The best thing about hunting in a field in Civil War sites. If you get a good signal and it ant a dang beer can, you probably got something good.

Hidy J. Yep That is what it is. I found it in Trenton last year. If you look on here at Civil War finds,, Jan. 10- 11 There is a close up of it. It was found where N.B forrest's men attacked and captured the Federal troops in Trenton. So it could have come from his men I hope.I found a carved piece of lead Sun. that looks like a ink quill, like yours that you post. Thanks for looking. I posted it just now.

Hidy LD. Well all he talked about mainly was the land and house he own,, how much money it would take for him to go to another job,, his people in the Civil War,, when and how he got hurt,, in between some Civil War stuff that anyone one would know that reed books on Civil War,. At the close , a few older men were talking to him about here say and off the wall topkets,, and I wated on him to come back to see what I had brouth with me for 30 min. they were steal talking so I just picked up and left. I bet if I had of told him that my brotherinlaw had gave 6.5 million dollers to the U. T. of Ten. a few years ago he would have been the first to have looked at them, what you thank.
