I think this is my favorite, just because it's a mystery. It's aluminum about the size of a silver dollar. I have no clue where it came from or what it was for. No date or mark of any kind. So far nobody I've talked to has ever seen these things before.

I think I've seen this be4 and can tell you that most of those tokens were given out as souvenirs at various RCMP functions or schools. Nice find.

My favorite coin is the one you now see posted with my forum entries. Can you imagine, 1858! 153 years old! (Who's pocket was it once in? What was their life like? A half dolllar could buy a lot of things in 1858. It must have been a big loss to the owner. I get a strange, and somewhat sad feeling when I think that all of those people have passed). 1858, and it looks as good as the day it was lost. I don't know what MDing God was watching over me that day, but I sure do thank him (or her). This coin is a beauty! <:

Nope, the RCMP historian has never seen or heard of these either. First place I checked. A mystery.
