I am starting to clean out some of the sites that I found researching the CW and those that are too far away from me I just wanted to pass on to someone else.

Will post more later on....It just takes one small sentence to reveal a great detecting spot. Hope it is helpful to someone...... thumbsup01

Thanks for this info Carl. I have seen the sign of the Shelton laurel massacre. It is within a few miles of my house as a matter of fact I have pictures of it myself. I never really looked into it mainly because to this day Shelton Laurel is known as bad territory. One of my neighbors who passed a couple years back was 93 years old and told me all kinds of stories of how they survived by making and bootlegging moonshine. The area is still known for people disappearing in the mountains never to be seen again. Marshall is just a hop, skip, and a jump from my house as well and only one road through those mountains leading into asheville. All good things to know as I just might have to expand my search territory, not to Shelton Laurel but to Marshall. Thanks Carl.
