I'm Hillbilly Dave & my wife Linda, aka Effie Mae.

We are from Central Kentucky and have been detecting for ten years. Our first time detecting we found 4 silver dollars in about an hours time at an old KY home site. We were hooked. Here we are ten years later with a wide variety of artifacts found in the Central KY area.

hello Dave & Linda , welcome to the forum . great area your in i suspect you have detected with one of our Mods recently  yes??

 that be little old me  Actually we didn't 'meet' for first time at our local MD club... Dave was with me when we were shot at/scared by that property owner! He came down to the house to ask if he could detect, said he'd been trying to find the property owner forever- I said join me! After our run-in with the owner (need to clarify that I DID have permission), Dave showed me boxes and boxes of he and Linda's CW relics. Later that evening, our local club was meeting, so he and Linda joined us!

So glad you two are here :happydance01: it's a fine forum indeed :)

Howdy Amigo!
Welcome to the forum and nice to meet up with you here.
Notice you using a GTI 2500 with the Eagle Eye 2 box detector.
How do you like working with that thing? I'm just dying to get one myself.
Curious how it works for you in the field.

Anyhow, welcome aboard, and glad to meet you pard!

Blessings,
M-Taliesin
