Nice looking collection of relics. :clapping: Sometimes it's hard to imagine just how big the Civil War was. So many finds, by so many people over the years and there are still relics to be found. It's just amazing. :thinkingabout:

Great finds. Some of your finds are items no good soldier would ever misplace and leave behind on purpose. We should never forget the sacrifices these men made for their country on the field of battle.

Thanks Dan. Yea it is all from one location but these artifacts are only a sample of what we have found since Easter 2010. We are searching a 175 acre site that borders Perryville Battlefeild State Park in Ky. We have covered maybe a third of the site.

That is amazing. What a thrill to have hunting grounds like that, <: and to think that is just a sampling from the first third searched.

It will be a real treat to see what else comes up from this site. :drool:

Just had a fun day hunting with Tana. One of my best hunting buddies.
