Any Upside To Ice And Snow For Post Thaw THing?

Wild thought, but does the hard freeze and ice and snow we've endured for a week nearly, make for finding buried targets where there didn't seem to be any prior? Texas isn't prone to all this saturated frozen stuff, and it makes me wonder if the thaw might turn some coins around during the thaw. martin

Like how the moles can push old coins closer to the surface? (it does happen) :ticked:
Maybe someone could see about getting a government grant to look into these things.
The government loves to throw away money on things like this. And they're gonna need all the money we can pull outta the ground to pay China back what we owe them. rofl

yup frost heaves will move coins around alot , Coinnut and i see stones and rocks ( some as big as a pineapple) that get pushed up about 6 to 10 inches ( enough to see them break the surface) and then thaw out and sink back into the mud on the trails and roads we hike .

Coins definitely move with the frost,,,up, down , sideways keeps those old spots somewhat new thumbsup01

The moisture alone will be a blessing for deep targets...not to mention making it easier to dig. thumbsup01
