Really nice! Those are some incredible finds :happydance01: Congratulatinos!

I live near Lexington off Versailles Road. Any advice on how to get permission to hunt old homestead sites? I prefer hunting old parks but am quickly realizing that around here I'm going to have to focus on private property.

Man... this stuff is out of this world!! :happydance01:

Is that a silver clad Bicentennial quarter you have in the 4th picture?

The soil is pretty easy on the coins in your area... especially the nickels and coppers. thumbsup01

Great post! thumbsup01

Epi-hunter, Hi from Dave & Linda from over in Nicholasville. My advice to you is to be persistent and go ask permission at any place you think might hold artifacts. The wort thing they could tell you is no but you may be surprised at how many people will give you permission to search their property. Don't procrastinate, if you see a spot pursue it before some else beats you to it.

Happy Hunting,

Dave & Linda

Hi Dave and Linda... thank you! I try to avoid Nicholasville Road whenever possible for my own sanity lol but when I get that far, I do like Nicholasville  Thank you for the advice. I am just out of my element here still, not sure who to ask or who owns what, but I need to get it together as spring is very close and I want to hit the ground running. Thanks again :happydance01:
