Had a great grandfather and his two brothers in the 18th Wisconsin infantry, they actually marched with Sherman through the south... I wish we still had some items from them but their all gone. My sister a geneologist researched them and found pension documents on them. Great sense of pride to all of us. Great site and I will do some research of my own.

A lot of time on the computer and google as many possible ways and phrases that you can think of and sometimes you just follow the links from a site. Take a break and then google some more using some of the words found on a previous site. That's the short version LOL lol

I know what you mean when I get to a site like that one I jump around just looking into things that tweak my little brain....then settle down to try and get some good info from it all and I am still working toward that right now on this site.
