First Hunt with my E-Trac

Today was cold, wet and very dreary. I had to get out and give the E-Trac a test run and am quite pleased. I hunted at two spots that I have been over countless times and pulled two Mercs, a 1937 and 1939 and four Wheaties. The small copper disc is junk.. The '37 must have been close to something for the discoloration. Despite the weather I had a great time..

Congrats on the silver! I'm glad you like the E-trac... sounds like you made the transition to it very nicely :) So how did the mercs sound? How deep were they?
 
Very nice Bruce! A good way to break in the new machine. thumbsup01 I'm sure you will do well with it.
 
Now that wasn't so bad now was it Bruce! :grin: Looks like you picked up on the Etrac really fast! Congrats on the mercs and wheats! Just think how you will do when you get some hours under belt with it! thumbsup01

Thanks Angie.. Both sounded nice and clear, just what I always envisioned and both hit at 12/45 on the display. They were not too deep say 6 inches. I did find one Wheat at around 8 inches.
 
That's more silver than I've found in the last two months... Congrats on getting the new baby Bruce!!! I'm jealous!
 
Sounds like you made a good choice with that machine. Congrats on the silver. (And congrats for not getting SNOW :mad: which managed to make its way into my world this afternoon).
 
great way to break that baby in Bruce with a silver christening , congrats man.


it seems like i'm slowly being surrounded by e-tracs :confused:

I guess I'll have to save up for the E-trac, I wish I could afford both right now so that I'm sure nothing gets by me :crying02:. Maybe if I bought the E-trac 1st I could have found enough silver to buy a v3 sooner than the other way around :confused:. Anyway congrats on your 1st day finds with your new machine, no doubts now it can find silver for you thumbsup01.
 
Well that was easy lol lol Didn't take long to hit silver. If you still got Mercs at 6 at that park, you are gonna have a field day with that machine. Congrats thumbsup01
