With the high value of silver now (32.66 per ounce at close Friday, Feb 18), here are melt values:

Silver Dime: $2.36
Silver Quarter: $5.90
War Nickel: 1.83

I'm pretty confident it's gonna keep going up,,,,,the economy sucks so bad,,,,it's bound too!! When it gets to a certain point,,,I'm selling it <: <: <: <:

i disagree. old coins are part of history. thats why i dig.if i wanted to make some loot i would be slangin and bangin...not really. lol

I tend to agree with that. If the economy tanks really bad, the people who will be able to get food and gas for transportation, and buy ammo to protect from those who would attempt to take necessities from them, will be those with gold and silver coins.
Just hope and pray it doesn't come to those drastic measures. :eyebrow: :eyebrow:
