Hey all,
This is Linda, the better half of Hillbilly Dave. I am the one behind the scenes cropping, resizing, and uploading all the pics. He is a hillbilly, remember. lol I don't like coin hunting and seldom went detecting with Dave. Once we found the Civil War site, I was hooked. I go out hunting any chance I get which is not often. :( Work first, play later. This is a great forum.

Hi Linda and welcome! :) I live near Lexington just off Versailles Road. Hoping to finally find a bit of time to get out and detect with you guys sometime. I'm primarily a coin hunter though :) You and Dave have posted some really great finds! :cheering:

Hi Linda and welcome. :) Glad you are here too.
The two of you make some very nice discoveries.
I can certainly see why you got hooked on the hobby. It would be exciting just hunting areas like the ones you do... add some nice CW keepers and I'd be hooked for life too.
Great job on the photo work. thumbsup01

Hey Linda!
Welcome to the forum from the slowly thawing corn fields of Illinois!!
I love seeing the CW relics you guys have been posting! We don't get to find any of that kind of thing here in northern Illinois.
So it's nice to see it when you guys find some and share it with us! Thanks

Aw shux, thanks Ron

Welcome Linda! Did you fail to mention that due to the nature of your work in public school system- you get summers off to go detecting? Talk about feast and famine! Hope you find some good stuff on your next hunt :)
