When the snow gets deep and you can't get out, perhaps you or a family member have a dirt cellar you can detect...

Sounds funny, doesn't it? Well, here in Maine a dirt cellar is fairly common.
And yuppers... people lost things in their cellars!

Try it some time if you've got a hankering to detect mid winter and show us what you find. ;)

The house I grew up in had a partial dirt cellar (we called it the wine cellar). All I ever found were nails, but that was in the non discriminator days :( Wish I had a crack at it with today's technology.

Unfortunately most people don't have basements in my part of the country :(

My wife's cousin just moved into an old house with a dirt cellar. I will be MD'ing that early next year. Who knows, could be a jar of gold coins buried down there... RickO
