I found a silver three cent piece today and was hoping someone can shed some light on what I have without a picture. I took a couple pictures but they are no help.

It is 9/16 in diameter with a star on the back ( I think ) . The other side has the three roman numerals with the C around it. Those are surrounded by thirteen stars.

Were any of these coins made without dates ? How can I safely clean this coin so I can at least read the inscriptions on it.

This coin was down 8+ and gave my a solid hit on my MXT Pro. This was only my second time out , &quot:beerbuddy:eginners Luck....maybe .

This is the best I can do Dan , but the pic you posted is what I have , now if I can clean it up to see what the date is I'll be happy.

I listened to that advice you gave me last night and it paid off. Thanks :happydance01:

Unfortunately I can only make out the number 1 in the date , the others are worn out, but that's OK , I'm excited anyway.
