Went to my first cousin's yard,,,an old farm house circa 1905. Just my kind of spot!! thumbsup01 thumbsup01 thumbsup01
Normally, I start a new spot and I like to bounce around looking for the hot spots. This time I started gridding right away in the front yard. Right away I dug a 1902 Indian happydance02 happydance02 happydance02 Found a lipstick case,, a little junk kids ring,,, Got $2.12 in clad. Then I had a high penny signal with my M6,,sounded like a Memorial,,,,digging around some 2 roots I finally saw a silver edge showing in the hole. Pulled it out and saw One Dime on the back,,,,SWEET,,,my first Barber dime of the year :happydance01: :happydance01: :happydance01: :happydance01:
Swinging in the front yard I got a dime, Qtr. hit at 6 Dug a Merc,,,scanned the hole,,,more there,,found a wheat,,,another Merc. Scanned the hole again,,,read penny , dime,,, dug another wheat. SWEET!!! Scanned one more time,,, nothing. Got up,,,moved around 90 degrees to the hole,,,swung over and around it,,,got another dime hit,,,another Merc, <: <: <: 3 Mercs and 2 wheats from the same little honey hole! <: <: <: <: <: <: A little later I found a Sterling silver religious medal :peace: :peace:
Had a great hunt,,,,and have a lot of yard to go thumbsup01 thumbsup01 I will definitely be going back!

Thanks for looking folks!!!!

Awesome hunt Dan! :shocked04: <: :clapping:
Sure wish I had a cousin like that.
That must have been a very fun day. I know what you mean about bouncing around... especially in a new spot. I have a very, very hard time with the grid method. I know it is probably best, but I even struggle searching in a straight line. :embarrassed: I start straight, but end up changing directions several times.
Three Mercs and a Barber along with an IH is outstanding. A big congrats to you. :clapping:

Wow !! Smoking hunt Carver those are some sweet coins. Just once I'd like to find an Indian half as nice as that one
the ground around where I hunt is really hard on them . :clapping: thumbsup01 8)
