I got a chance to get out and hunt with a few forum members this week and was able to dig up a few goodies thumbsup01

Wednesday I got out with Marinedad, Mark, and a friend Ted. We went to a few spots Mark had picked out. My first good finds came from a late 1800's farm house. I was able to find 2 wheats, a 44 Merc and a 1903 IH thumbsup01. Next Mark took us to an old school that's been turned into the city building. There I was able find a couple more wheats, Merc #2 for the day, a 1919 happydance02.

Sunday I got out with Ted, Earl, Mark, Mike & Rob for another group hunt at a park Mike had picked out. We knew that we had a chance of rain on and off all day. But we didn't know it would down pour on and off every 20 minutes all day ?!! >:\ :mad: >:\ :mad: >:\ :mad: :crying02:
We finally gave in after about 4 hours of running for the pavilion constantly lol But before we left I was a able to add a few more silvers and wheats to my 2011 total.

Today I found three Mercs 1937, 40, and 43. And added 5 more wheaties to the pile!! :happydance01:

After getting home and trying to take a few pictures to share with you all, I was pelted with a hail storm!! >:\ lol

very nice silver take Tim and getting out with friends to share a favorite hobby is always a great time :happydance01: <: <: so who officially took bragging rights , anyways lol lol . thanks for sharing the hunt.

Thanks Dan! It's been fun hunting with the others ! :yes:
As for the bragging rights go's I'd say me for the park hunt this morning. Mike did find a gold chain and crucifix ( I never did see that 8/)
And he PMed after I got home and said afterwords he went to a different place and found 3 silver coins and a 14k ring!! :shocked04:
I hope he's posting the goods! :drool: :twirlingeyes:

Sounds like a great time had :clapping: Did you use the E trac or the DFX for those hunts? I guess you both have bragging rights thumbsup01 Nice hail lol

Nope. The last two were down by the far ball diamond, back in the corner. Along the first base line.

Rain here today and kind of busy yesterday :angry: so I wasn't able to get out hunting. crying01

I think that's the first and only silver and hail photo I have ever seen lol Congrats on the great hunt and the nice coins!
