I have seen a couple of great displays posted on here lately, and was wondering about other unique and different ideas that you folks have come up with. If you have something to share, please post a pic.

In the Riker display cases use a colored felt cloth or velvet to highlight the items in the case.

In the display cases that the glass top can open, get a couple pieces of clear plexiglass to put on the sides to prop the top so it will stay open. If needed, get one for the back also.

Even some colored thin foam in the case will show the relics or coins much better than the standard white polyesther foam.

A small printout of info from internet research of an item..... be it a certain caliber bullet, an old watch, even a common date Mercury Dime, placed next to the item, will give a more professional look to the display.

Here's a couple I have done. first are all my unusual keys dug. I put them on a board that was originally made for holding a planted pot.

More along the line of unusual is that you can take a wooden cigar box, put felt in the bottom if desired, and take the lid off. Here's one I have done showing RR buttons dug.

Also , I have attached all my dug knives to this shield shaped board.

Yet another one if I'm not overdoing it - I bought a wooden box at a second hand store - it was made for a bible originally. I drilled holes in the lid to match the coins, put the coins in and sealed them with epoxy. Pic a little blurry. Steve in so az
