I went back to the park today to see if i could conjure up anymore forgotten coins. I started out with jacks correlate program and hit an 1889 Indian head right off the bat. Next came two 1951 wheats.

Later i switched to Yazoos program and nailed an 1891 V nickel. Been a while since i've found one of those. I have no idea why but when the solid 19 came up on the VDI, i was thinking wouldn't it be nice to find a nice Buffalo with a date then babg out comes a V nickel with a readable date.
Got another 25 coins in 3 hours.I also got one that is so badly corroded all i can make out is the (NE one ONE CENT) The rest of the back and the whole front are so green i can't tell if it's a wheat or an Indian. lol It's so bad i'm not even taking a picture. The back of the V nickel is worn bad too.

Thanks for looking

Very good hunt Kid! Thats a nice Indian Head. Those green cents can hide pretty good sometimes. Thanks for sharing the hunt.

Nice finds, try soaking that GREENY in some lemon/lime soda, then scrub w/ a toothbrush...it'll take the green right off. :yes:interesting:oak in some olive oil after.

That's a nice solid date on the V nickel. thumbsup01 Congrats on the Indian Head cents too. They sure are a lot of fun to find. :happydance01:
