Haven't been out too much lately,,,got out a couple times this past weekend. Been in a bit of a silver slump since finding the Morgan dollar. I finally broke out of that Sunday! <: <:
Went to my classmates yard,,,a Bungalow style house , circa probably 1930's. I started swinging in the front yard,,,then the side yard,,,then along the sidewalks,,,NOTHING!!! Not a single coin was to be found. Obviously someone had been here before me :bangshead02: :bangshead02: :bangshead02: :bangahead01: :bangahead01: :bangahead01: Then I hit an old section of sidewalk,,,and got a nice Qtr. signal at 5,,,,popped out a VERY worn SLQ,,,,,,by far the most worn of any I have found but I will gladly take it!!    Found all of 12cents in the rest of the yard,,,,but someone missed the silver!!
Next I went to a spot just 3/4 mile from my house that I've been wanting to hit for a long time. Used to be a little house there,,,the fire dept. burned it down for practice about 5 years ago. It's all grown up in tall grass and lots of small saplings now. Hard to swing. Did manage to find 7 wheats and a handfull of older clad. Got to be some silver there somewhere!
Found a cool old cap gun and a Lava soap token.
Thanks for looking everyone!!

Very nice!! I always love to see the SLQ's even if they are smooth.

Love the token! They are almost more fun to find than coins. I found an identical one like that one a few years back, also in an Iowa yard. :)

Great finds Carver. :clapping:
The SLQ may be smooth, but she sure looks beautiful to me. That coin has proven to be my white whale. I always get excited when I see someone else find one.
Love the token too. Very nice looking one. Congrats. :peace:

Like the others say, I'll take an SLQ any day, slick or not. Congrats on snagging that out of an otherwise barren yard!
