Just thought I would throw this out. Saw it posted on craigslist.

There's a person in St. Louis that lost a wedding band in their back yard and wants to rent a metal detector for 1/2 hour for $40.00. Probably better to just look for the fellows wedding band on your own for the $40.00.

Anyway, here's the ad - http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ele/2302659788.html

Obviously he has never used a metal detector before or he would not think he is going to find a ring in a yard within 30 minutes.

Hopefully he will get some help. :)

That's why I added the part about just looking for the guy's ring yourself. Rent him a detector for half an hour and he'll have holes everywhere. He'll give up for sure :white:usaflag::

How old is the house...I'll fly out and dig up his yard if it's old enough lol

I have no idea. Just the contents of the listing.

I also thought as you regarding digging things in his yard. Would it not be great to find out when going there that the house was an old brothel in the 1860's before remodeling in the 1930's and that the 5 out buildings about 100 feet away from it were for use by the girls to help customers on those days when business was overflowing.

I think I would be able to work out a good deal with that guy.
