Me, that's who!!....spent the day out east at an old farm....had a blast and a half finding all these buttons!!!.....of course, leave it to me to dig almost 7 inches to find a stinkin lincoln when everyone that has hunted this field in the past has walked away with reales, IH, LC, etc....oh well....thanks to Frank for inviting me!!...thanks for looking, HH....

That looks like a beautiful old navy button Sandy.Did you go Barry's hunt?I went on one last fall and great finds came out also.Would'nt you love to be able to hunt those fields every week. :cheesysmile:

Hey Sandy, Leave them the crusty coppers and keep that Navy button :shocked04: Looks like a 1 piece Navy button listed in Albert's as NA 87 Some backmarks include: J. Mann's Extra Rich crown rim 23mm and A.W Spies./For Sea Service/IM/Gilt rm;23mm Some of those other smaller buttons are suspicious looking too lol Nice haul. I'd say that was a fantastic relic day. Don't have a date on it, but guessing somewhere's between 1812 - 1820's
