wheatie fest + silvers

Got out today and pulled 19 wheaties 8), the oldest being 1915, and a pair of silvers happydance02, as well as an 8 gram silver pendant :happydance01:. My normal ratio is closer to 2.5 wheaties to silver, so that took a real beating today. The rosie was pretty much my last target before I had to get back to work, so at one point I was looking at 19 wheaties per 1 silver. :embarrassed:

I couldn't believe this one small section, about 10x20 feet, where I couldn't swing the coil without hitting one. No clad, little trash, no silver, just wheaties. Someone with a shallow machine had cleaned everything else out. Ironically, neither silver was found anywhere near that section.

Lots and lots of wheats and some nice silver to boot!
I kind of track my wheat to silver ratio too. I think sooner or later it will average out for you. I had a major lead on my wheats to silver this year but over the last couple of hunts it is getting closer to my 5:1 ratio.
