bored outta my skull at noontime i called my Dad's friend and asked about his wife's sisters house.he made one call and 15 mins later i was on my way to home. notice the original boot scraper set next to front door? thumbsup01
a lot of the yard was redone and pickins were slim.managed a neat (1940's-50's i'm guessin) city marshall badge.a 1903 Indian head penny, a 1852 braided hair large cent,2 wheaties and some clad.spent 5 hours there and the small yard gave up about all its gonna give up.
have a great week everyone!
** looking at this marshall badge..it's a pretyy heavy duty pin for a childs toy
could this possibly be a real marshalls badge? the few play ones i have dug had cheesy pins that were toy badges.

5 hours and a sink full of fun!! lol
Yeah man that badge looks a little too heavy duty to be a kids play thing lol :thinkingabout: Could be the real deal :dontknow:
I'd say that boot scraper has seen the bottom of a boot many, many a time  It's even worn more on the left side of the blade than the right side.
Probably the side closest to the door ;) Another great hunt and post Dave!
Thanks fer sharin'
Congrats

well that turned out to be a great last minute hunt Dave , ;) that braided hair is one of the better ones i've seen come from a yard too. :loveit: the marshall badge is a very interesting and cool item to recover :peace: :peace: as i said taking it to the local historical society might shed some more info on it . i agree as it could be a victorian era badge for a town constable . great stuff man and congrats .

Well that hunt turned out nice lol Great hunt. The Indian is sweet as is the Copper (and it's a real one this time rofl). The badge is a ?? for me. Could just be real. Try not to flash it to too many motorists lol Nice digs man.
