My finds for today group hunt at couple different locations. First place was old park by the river and detected there for an hour with big group of forum members. Got only one wheat and junk watch at that park. Decided to go and check other old park close by and got 1874 IH with 5 more wheat's. Last place was old house I just got permission to hunt and there I got my oldest coin so far 1856 Flying Eagle Cent with 5 more wheat's. No silver today but I had fun and great time. Thanks for looking and HH. Mike

A big congrats on the Flying Eagle. <:
That is a tough coin to find.
I had to chuckle when I saw the flower tag in the photo. Somehow they seem to
get deep pretty quick and sound like something good. lol
Nice job Mike. :clapping:

1856 is an INCREDIBLY rare one, as there were only 750 of them minted for circulation, and it guides for $6,500 in Good condition.

Thanks for nice comments and info on the coin. I went today to coin dealer and got confirmation YES its real deal 1856 FE. I did make a small nick on the side of coin when I was digging >:# but otherwise coin is in good shape. Oldest and best find so far for me :happydance01: Coin was 10 inches down and give me very weak signal in one direction on Ace250. I made test again on top of the ground just to see what ring is like and was in nickel range. Good luck and HH. Mike
